Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

Today I get to celebrate my Irish heritage- whoo hoo! My Great Grandparents came to America from Dublin, Ireland and settled in Paterson, New Jersey. Yep, I'm a Jersey Girl, although I haven't live there for a very long time :-). My Great Grandfather passed away before I was born, but I well remember my Great Grandmother. She lived to be 95 years old. I'm very fortunate that I have photos of her and a couple of things that belonged to her.

I made a card for all of you, whether you be Irish or Irish at heart :-), to wish you all a Happy St. Patrick's Day!

And some Irish Blessings for you....

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Wishing you a rainbow
For sunlight after showers—
Miles and miles of Irish smiles
For golden happy hours—
Shamrocks at your doorway
For luck and laughter too,
And a host of friends that never ends
Each day your whole life through!

May God give you...
For every storm, a rainbow,
For every tear, a smile,
For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!
Blessings!
Barb
