I know this is Early but.....

This is the time of the year when I start working on the design for my husband's business Christmas cards :-). I thought I would share it since I used the Sunday Sketch posted below. I like the way this one came out so it has a really good chance of being the one I use this year. I finally got to use 'Dasher'! I ordered this stamp last year and never got around to using it because all of my Christmas cards were finished by that time. I will be using him this year though! I LOVE this stamp!

I stamped my Old Olive card stock for the background with the Bella Toile background stamp in Old Olive ink. I trimmed my stamped card stock and cut off the bottom piece first. Then I cut the two top pieces in half. I chose to use the same colors that I used in my sketch in the post below- Old Olive and Elegant Eggplant, but I used Very Vanilla instead of Whisper White.

For the inside of my card, I punched the corners with the 'Scallop Trim' corner punch and added a 'Jumbo Snowflake' accent in Elegant Eggplant. I stamped the smallest circle stamp in 'Circle Circus' on Very Vanilla in Old Olive ink and punched it out with the new circle punch from the 'Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack'. The circle punch is a perfect fit for the stamp :-). I added the little stamped image to the center of my snowflake and stamped my sentiment in Elegant Eggplant.

I tried several times yesterday morning to get this posted, but Blogger was down for a good part of the day :-(. Glad things are back up and running now! Wishing you all a wonderful day today! Thanks for stopping by. I really appreciate your visits!

Blessings!
Barb

Barb, your card is great. I also love that reindeer. I don't know if I will "retire" it from my stash of stamps that I dearly love. I love the colors and everything. The inside is very cute too with that snowflake.
Your hubby will love them. TFS

Great card sketch! I love it. I finally got Dasher too--now mine just needs to see some ink. ;-)

I like this card very much! The layout is great and I love how you also decorated the inside of the card. I also bought Dasher last year, but he hasn't seen any ink yet!

Great card Barb, and as we all know making Christmas Cards at anytime of the year is a wonderful idea. Takes the stress off as the season approaches.
